Livia@liviainberlin· Jul 12 What a joy seeing The Cure live last night. It’s been a while since 2011 and it felt like Robert Smith & co haven’t aged at all musically & performance-wise. They’ve played such an amazing show in #Berlin The Twilight Sad were a nice surprise, too. Liked their gig. Mentally I’m still in Wuhlheide

Livia@liviainberlin· Jul 10 This evening’s light and shades and fluffy summer clouds. Little joys in #Berlin

Livia@liviainberlin· Jul 4 Both grateful and very happy after seeing Ali Wong and Sheng Wang performing live tonight in #Berlin. Loved their punchlines plus astute social & behavioural observations. And, damn, I needed some good laughs considering the past months.

Livia@liviainberlin· Jul 3 Throwback to my yesterday’s lunch when I took myself on a date (which I often do for the past 20 yrs) with a delicious truffle pasta & a lemon-raspberry-ginger-basil lemonade. Today half of my lunch break will be now taken hostage by a mandatory “AI Blabla” 1.5 hr session 😩🤮🤬 #Berlin #workstories

Livia@liviainberlin· Jun 28 Pulp and their amazing concert, last night in #Berlin, in Tempodrom. It was hot, it was steamy, it was dancing, it was worth it. Jarvis Cocker, forever!

Livia@liviainberlin· Jun 14 Angry clouds today in #Berlin most of the day

Livia@liviainberlin· Jun 13 This was one of the available Wi-Fis in the train I took this week, returning from my work trip home to #Berlin 😅

Livia@liviainberlin· Jun 4 Heartbreaking story news and life story.

Livia@liviainberlin· May 30 Revamping my photo diary of #Berlin toilets

Livia@liviainberlin· May 24 Yes, Düsseldorf, this is exactly what we need - more individualism…NOT

Livia@liviainberlin· May 23 Japan-Tag in Düsseldorf is the largest Japanese culture festival in Europe. I guess it’ll do for now bc no Japan vacation this year 😃 All people who’ve dressed up today in amazing costumes while real-feel 32 Celsius degrees have earned my admiration…forever

Livia@liviainberlin· May 9 Is this for real that Snoop Dog is now on LinkedIn and writes “inspirational posts” just like 90% of LinkedIn users? Or is it a PR stunt of some sorts?!

Livia@liviainberlin· Apr 29 Throwback to last Sunday’s walk in #Berlin (finally) exploring Lilienthal Park. I miss that serenity, particularly now, when a neighbour upstairs is drilling. Counting the minutes until I’ll be sehr- Deutsch-was-ist-los-hier at their door

Livia@liviainberlin· Apr 24 Remains of yesterday’s lunch break. #Berlin

Livia@liviainberlin· Apr 9 I cannot even articulate how bad I find the new “job search” feature on LinkedIn: a field named “describe the job you want” where you add “skills/role/industry etc”, then click ‘enter’, select location, exp, etc. The “good old” job search field was way better even with its flaws. #work #rant

Livia@liviainberlin· Mar 22 When one misses the sweets from 7Eleven in Japan, one at least lives in #Berlin where (even) on Sundays there’s a GoAsia Supermarkt open and pretty well stocked up. Kurz gesagt: ich bin dankbar 🙇♀️

Livia@liviainberlin· Mar 19 Ayako Rokkaku and her “Scenery in the process of being formed” exhibition in #Berlin made me think how much I’d like to visit Japan again (soon)

Livia@liviainberlin· Mar 10 I’m happy & grateful I’ve got to see again Florence and the Machine last night in #Berlin Still riding the wave of good energy from this experience. All the conflicts, power dynamics, office politics & buzzwords encountered today at work seemed…insignificant and small. At least today 🤷♀️

Livia@liviainberlin· Mar 7 Neuer Markt am Südstern is one of my fav farmers market in #Berlin (not that we have too many, leider): nice Kiez atmosphere, decent produce, good options to eat on the spot & okay-ish prices for regional veggies& I don’t need to sell half of my kidney for 1 kilo of carrots, like in the Kollwitz one

Livia@liviainberlin· Mar 7 Belle & Sebastian last night in Metropol #Berlin was a charming concert (way better than I’ve expected it to be). Listening to all the songs from their “If you’re feeling sinister” record, being played live in a rather intimate setup , brought back lots of memories

Livia@liviainberlin· Mar 5 I liked a lot “How to get to heaven from Belfast” created by the wonderful Lisa McGee who made the amazing “Derry Girls”. Yup, I always love a good Irish banter.

Livia@liviainberlin· Feb 13 David Byrne’s concert last night in #Berlin has been a much needed dose of optimism. Or as he said it: “Love and kindness are punk. They are nowadays a form of resistance”. His show has been next level in comparison to the one he did 10 yrs ago in #Berlin in the same venue (that one was great, too)

Livia@liviainberlin· Feb 4 Shoutout to yesterday’s evening dinner out in the winterhell in #Berlin particularly to the dessert: meringue filled with yoghurt eis and walnuts, financier with fig leaves marmalade. Tasty, tasty, tasty

Livia@liviainberlin· Jan 25 Japanese cheesecake I’ve treated myself with yesterday, here in #Berlin. It was decent, even though I believe the toppings are unnecessary. Just keep it simple:)
