It fits her character to a T, so flavorful. Huge fan. Also a fan of Boimler back there being Boimler Compare that to the AWFUL Picard from the commander deck, which just... Why is Picard a 4/4? He can take out two bears. The diplomacy captain does things when he attacks? WHY IS HE GREEN SCREENED?

(MTG Spoiler Talk) Look, I kind of hate what I see of the Star Trek MTG set, and I'm really exhausted by modern MTG, but this is a really good card and I gotta give them credit where its due. Is it good competitively? I don't give a fuck. But she doesn't look photoshopped, and the design is funny.

Reckless Behavior - Whenever Beckett becomes tapped, put a promotion counter on her. Then if there are three or more promotion counters on her, remove those counters and she deals 2 damage to each opponent.

...It IS weird that she's an Officer if she's an Ensign but that's okay.

This is my favorite machine in the GDQ arcade. Always been a HUGE fan of this one, play it any time I see it Got a really good PB tonight! Theres no high scores on the machine sadly, but I imagine I am FAR up there in terms of GDQ Goers so far (I got past level 17~)

Ice Cold Beer, a classic taito arcade game. Its a mechanical gamr where you roll a ball up the board without it falling into the wrong holes.

Y'all I am so bad at pinball its embarassing. My goal this GDQ is to get OKAY at a single pinball game and for some reason I chose this one. Totally not because of sexy robot babes. I can't last more than like 4 minutes. I just make two shots and drain. Pinball absolutely hates me.

The pinball table "Jack Bot". Its retro sci fi and casino themed, with a sexy robot gorl as one of the mascots. The other is a robot that some might find sexier but it'd take a certain kind. This table hates me but I want to love it.

I guess it’s a good time to do a rain check. The characters. How do I like em? Well, Xavier is fine, but a bit deus ex machina-y at times. Angel is boring, Bobby is alright but is just comic relief, Jean is THE GIRL who is never allowed to do anything and spends every other page with her fucking hand over her forehead slumped over. Cyclops is INTERESTINGLY boring if that makes sense. He’s boring with pathos. He’s intentionally a stick in the mud, prolly my favorite so far tbh. Aaaaand the Beast does this thing where he calls Jean “female” every time he’s trying to address her. I swear to god, if Beast calls Jean “female” one more fucking time, I’m gonna shave him.

So last GDQ I brought this thing, which is a little MSX FPGA laptop. Its cute. But it requires some setup that's confusing. I talked to someone who said they'd help, but I needed this USB Blaster thing. I had left it. Now I forgot who the hell I was asking for help. Memory problems yay :)

Writing this book I've been working on lately has been some of the most fun I've ever had writing. Here, have an otaku girlkisser trying to explain to another girlkisser what Utena is.

"Hot," Mellie commented, her hands tented as she listened intently, "please continue."
"Anyways there's a girl, Uraka, who dresses like a prince. And she manages to win a duel and becomes engaged to the Bride. It's about their relationship together as they keep winning duels. Well, it's about a lot more than that, but- what?"
The Goblin had been sitting there quietly listening for some time, but after a while she had begun to vibrate, letting out a low hum, her hands still steepled. Finally, she spoke up. "You said this was one of your favorites when you were younger?"
"Yes?" Kavya responded, confused.
"What I'm wondering is how you only just realized you're attracted to women, cause this sounds very, VERY gay so far."

"I- that- I-" Kavya stammered out, blushing deeply and clutching at the steering wheel, staring straight ahead at the road. "LOOK."
"I'm lookin'. I see homosexuality."
"It's a good series with deep themes about feminism and identity!" Kavya exclaimed.
"And you said you made a costume of one of these characters?" Mellie asked.
"Cosplay."
"Whatever. Which character was it?"

The two of them sat there quietly for a second, before they both broke out in laughter, the car filling with giggles.
Kavya wiped a tear from her eye. "Whoo! There's a kissing scene too, it's not subtle."
"Hell yeah!" Mellie exclaimed.

Thoughts on Star Fox for Switch 2: 1) It needs a better name 2) It's SF64 and thus plays amazingly 3) I find it weirdly hard to see enemies when everything has so much detail, might just be me 4) The voice acting is a bit disappointing.
