I'm not disparaging progressive people of this region - they have to stay safe every day, living among the MAGA cult. Maybe they prefer driving to a surrounding city, to spend their time (and money!) with like-minded people. We all have our reasons for staying. Or leaving.

I'm sorry for your loss. We had a similar story with our corgi in March. He was our furry baby through 12+ years, four houses, two continents, and a human child joining HIS family. 💔 We called him an "insufferable little shit" and "our best boy" in the same breath. 🥲
