I don’t wanna act like this is a big honkin’ deal because there’s like 50 mini-problems I have with Tahoe app icons— But do they really want different blues for Finder and Mail / Safari? And if so, could they perhaps choose more different blues, because these are too close.
Beta or not, when Apple shows before and afters on their own website, it’s totally fair to knock on them for legibility. I have to wonder: Who at Apple really thinks this example is the best representation? And whoever knows it isn’t the best, why isn’t it addressed *before* the reveal?
I’m not crazy, right? Currently if you drag a .icon file made with Icon Composer onto a folder or app to change the icon, it just shows the ICON FILETYPE instead of the actual icon artwork? Brilliant work, guys.
