Ein kreisrunder Kuchen (o) auf einem runden Teller (o) von o-ben photographiert. Hellgelber Creme-Aufstrich dient als Hintergrund für einen Text, der mit schlumpffarbener Lebensmittelfarbe in schönen Druckbuchstaben aufgetragen wurde: zoon plolitikon (Viermal O!). Von dieser Bezeichnung des Menschen als politisches Lebewesen (nach Aristoteles) gehen schlumpfgrüne Strahlen aus. Kleine Dekoperlen für Kuchen vollenden das Bild des Kuchens, der sich als ebenso lecker erwies wie er aussieht!

Als Bayerischer Lehrer werde ich in der kommenden Woche mit meinen Schüler*innen Art 131 der Bayer. Verfassung besprechen und anschließend ein Video einspielen, das "Send them back!"-skandierende Abgeordnete im Europaparlament zeigt. Anschließend reden wir über #Anstand #Würde #Humanität #BlueLZ

Bayerische Verfassung:
Art. 131
(1) Die Schulen sollen nicht nur Wissen und Können vermitteln, sondern auch Herz und Charakter bilden.
(2) Oberste Bildungsziele sind Ehrfurcht vor Gott, Achtung vor religiöser Überzeugung und vor der Würde des Menschen, Selbstbeherrschung, Verantwortungsgefühl und Verantwortungsfreudigkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft, Aufgeschlossenheit für alles Wahre, Gute und Schöne und Verantwortungsbewußtsein für Natur und Umwelt.
(3) Die Schüler sind im Geiste der Demokratie, in der Liebe zur bayerischen Heimat und zum deutschen Volk und im Sinne der Völkerversöhnung zu erziehen.
(4) Die Mädchen und Buben sind außerdem in der Säuglingspflege, Kindererziehung und Hauswirtschaft besonders zu unterweisen.

Ein großer Laufkäfer abgewandt, nach halbrechts blickend, auf sandigem Boden mit welkem Blatt und ein paar grün sprießenden Grashalmen (Weg am Waldrand). Das Tier zeigt irisierende Flügeldecken (rote und grüne Farbtöne dominieren) und einen schwarz glänzenden und wohl auch etwas indigofarben schillernden Halsschild. Das deutet darauf hin, dass es sich um einen Großen Puppenräuber handelt.

"Wow, so amazing!!! ..." #moon #Mond #Artemis Okay, ich geb's zu: vor Jahren mit der Digiknipse aufgenommen (freihand ans Okular+Gelbfilter gehalten) ... Die anderen Bilder waren unscharf, verwackelt. (Raumschiff: Erde; Ausguck: Terrasse, irgendwo in Franken) #WozuindenVorgartenfliegen?

Ein Ausschnitt der Mondoberfläche im Bereich des Terminators (Lichtgrenze), wo sich Oberflächenstrukturen (Krater, Gebirgszüge) besonders kontrastreich abzeichnen und damit plastisch erscheinen. Der Mond erscheint aufgrund des Filtereinsatzes in gelbgrünlicher Farbe. (Optik: 12"-Newton-Teleskop Dobson + kleine Digitalkamera)

Peter Wust grew up in a rural area in modest circumstances. His first teacher of philosophy was a shepherd, whom he helped with his work outdoors when he was young.
In later years, Wust’s weekly walks from Münster to a suburb became legendary. Students joined in, and as they walked under the open sky, they pondered everything under the sun.

Whether or not one shares Wust’s Catholicism, he is well worth rediscovering. For he provided valuable insights that offer new perspectives in the face of today’s crises. With this post, I am launching a series of 🧵s on Peter Wust, which, on the one hand, serve to commemorate the man, (2/4)

A page from Wust’s notebook on which he wrote down a prayer for one of his visitors, noting that it was the essential prayer befitting us humans, and that the visitor should never forget it. The visitor carried this note with him throughout the entire war.

The note, written in Wust’s clearly legible handwriting, reads roughly as follows:
"Eternal, all-loving, almighty Father, may Your most holy will be done, not mine!
Münster, March 14, 1940.
Peter Wust."

(The page comes from his conversation notebook, which is about the size of a postcard. Wust tore it out and gave it to the visitor to take with him on his journey through life.

Peter Wust – 🧵No.I Today we remember Peter Wust (+3 April 1940). By the time Wust succumbed to a severe form of cancer, he had made a name for himself as the ‘Philosopher of Münster’. His lectures were packed – Gestapo also took notes, as Wust was an opponent of the Nazis. (1/4) #philosophy

As he was suffering from cancer of the upper jaw, he could no longer speak and therefore used a notebook to communicate with his visitors. Many of his students and colleagues visited him, as did the Bishop of Münster, Cardinal Clemens August Graf von Galen, with whom he felt a bond due to his opposition to the Nazi regime.
Before undergoing general anesthesia for a difficult and risky cancer surgery, Wust made a point of saying once more: "I have never bowed my knees before Baal."

Since he’s only visited our garden a few times this winter, it seems the middle spotted woodpecker is making up for it now. With its long, pointed beak, the bird can easily get to the tasty scraps of food. #birds #garden #localpatch

The middle spotted woodpecker has clung to a large conifer cone hanging from a string and is using its sharp beak to peck out the remaining fat and seeds from the crevices, which had been filled with them for the birds.

A blue tit in the morning sun high up in the hazelnut bush, which apart from numerous catkins is still bare from winter. When fluffed up like this, the blue tit also looks a little like a Christmas tree bauble. The bird seems to be extending its night's sleep with a nap. Sometimes you're just very sleepy...

First, he drew a Dutch mountain landscape with fine black lines; then he signed his name underneath. He took his time drawing the three hills, slowly, as if he were a Japanese Zen master of writing. The three hills would not stand out without the slight elevation hinted at on the right. I watched him spellbound as he calmly drew the lines. He looked up briefly, had to smile and probably thought to himself: "Ha, tricked you. First we take our time for the mountains, and then comes the signature."
