Whether you like it or not, climate policy is energy policy. The misguided decision to leave these international organizations means that US interests will not be represented in rooms where international energy decisions are being made. It's undermining US national interests.
How about some good news? In December 2025 wind surpassed coal in PacifiCorp's (Rocky Mountain Power's parent) monthly generation. Thanks to new transmission lines & a 600 MW Wyoming wind facility coming online last year, we’re building momentum for a #CleanEnergy future. #utpol 🔌💡

Amazing visit to Fervo's #CapeConnect enhanced geothermal system (EGS) project today that's on track to put 100 MW of clean, firm power on the grid next year! Huge bonus to meet Dr. @wilsonar.bsky.social in person since his PhD research helped me understand the enormous potential of EGS!
I read that differently. My takeaway is that the long term shoaling trend of the ML is from climate forcing. So, yes variability and also yes to this being another fingerprint of climate forcing, right?
