This is my first orange boy and I am in love. His shelter name was Phoenix and I just kept it. It suits him. He was rescued from an unethical breeder and found his way into a spoiled rotten empty nest lady's house.

Well, Phoenix has had a whole week to become accustomed to a life of luxury and I think he is starting to relax into it. He did have a successful vet visit and everyone took photos. He's a goofy looking dude!

For my birthday and my heart, I adopted a cat today. He is an American Curl polydactyl. He was in rough shape when they got him from Utah and he has some healing to do. Say hi to Phoenix 🐦‍🔥 (his government name)

I have been trying to be a good plant mom. I inherited her and hadn't taken much interest until recently. Then, I became obsessed. I just recently learned about guttation! I also bought a grow light for the winter.

I didn't create it but it made me happy. This is a photo of my daughter's recent dance performance at Western. The piece is called "Hey, I Love You". This section was Lola lip syncing "Goodbye Horses" while everyone else danced around her. The whole thing made me so proud of the youths.
