A friend on FB posted a 2016 opinion piece that was attributed to Charles Krauthammer and that was very obviously not written by Krauthammer (confirmed by Snopes). And yet if you Google "Krauthammer on Trump" you get an AI summary of that piece. Awesome.

Last night I hosted a screening of The Currents, which is shaping up to be my film of the year. I saw it twice at TIFF and wish I could see it again tonight, on a big screen with big sound. It's so perfectly tuned to my tastes. The cinema for me is Isabel Aimé González Sola in a perfect blue coat.
The first thing that comes to mind for Nashville is the legacy of Fisk University, the HBC associated with W.E.B. DuBois, Nikki Giovanni, James Weldon Johnson, and other civil rights leaders. Not sure if his work explicitly addresses political violence, but I'd start with Aaron Douglas.
My kids have been with Glitch since Murder Drones. If I were still a writer, I'd pitch a long article about how bad (in conventional terms) the storytelling is in this stuff and about how it ultimately doesn't matter to the people who consume it. That sounds judgy, but I'm mostly fascinated.
At the risk of again siding with the enemy, I gave Claude some context for my taste and asked for 10 recommendations. I asked how it came up with those particular novels — the recommendations were excellent — and I think the answer is a useful example of how AI differs from older search tech.
