I’m watching both FC Cincinnati versus Vancouver and Inter Miami versus Chicago. The pitch in Miami is basically a mix of dead grass and dirt. What the hell?

Had a great time watching FC Cincinnati beat Burnley 3-1 in a friendly last night. The weather ended up being pretty nice despite calls for rain all week. Also, TQL Stadium looks so cool.
My SO and I made the Savannah Bananas broadcast for their Sunday game in Cincinnati!!
The Savannah Bananas game yesterday was insanely fun. I went in a little skeptical, but it really is a blast.
It tends to vary quite a bit, as cellular networks do, but T-Mobile home internet is doing pretty well today.
I appreciate that Bluesky instructs you to update the app if the feature being used isn’t available for you because you’re not on the latest version.
Busch Stadium and Ballpark Village are great. We’re doing a weekend trip, and St Louis has impressed so far. We were cheering for the Reds (who played horribly), but all of the Cardinals fans last night were super nice.
There was also a weird organic gathering of random shirtless guys trying to get the Reds to rally. It started as a small group and grew to expand 4 sections by the end of the game.
Being as far down the right field side as possible is always fun since you get a great view of both the river and the fireworks.
That was one hell of a Reds game! Playing like garbage all game other than Steer before tying Kansas City in the bottom of the 9th, keeping the Royals from scoring in the top of the 10th, and then walking it off in the bottom of the 10th was INSANE.
Yesterday we saw a random Memorial Day flyover and then had drinks along the river.
We took the puppies out to Maifest yesterday. They had a good time and got ALL the pets.
Just when you thought Teams couldn't be more terrible, for the first time it told me I needed to restart my entire machine so that it could authenticate me to Microsoft 365. Sorry for the weird aspect ratio on the screenshot, but I didn't want to include the actual Teams window.
The only thing keeping the Bucks in this game at the half is the fact that Denver also decided to completely forget how to shoot the ball, especially in the first quarter.
I was super stoked to see Aston Villa in Louisville last night. I figured I would never get the chance to see my EPL team without a trip to England. They tied Eintracht Frankfurt 2-2.
My site is just for fun, but on the flip side I’m glad that the site I made for my SO on WordPress with the Blocksy theme performs similarly. That one actually matters. 😅
Kind of (really) surprised my site does this well on PageSpeed Insights. It’s basically vanilla WordPress with the Twenty Twenty Four theme.
