Clue for you... They aren't _REALLY_ more "religious". What they are is desperate to find a social circle of belonging that "EMPOWERS" them over others. The fear and angst and butt-hurt over status is palpable, and their solution is to group in numbers under a "flag".

Best piece of kit I ever bought for electronics troubleshooting failed electronics? A thermal camera. Combined with a self made macro lens adapter... its the first thing I reach for.. (the culprit in this case: an sot23 op amp)
