Heading back home after a week in Toronto. Nothing like a few days of riding the TTC #1 Line to remind you that Winnipeg is kind of a “Bigger Morden”.
Visiting Toronto and asking my Winnipeg friends to request Common Good Ellesmere English Amber Ale at MLCC.
Winnipeg Infrastructure Update. The open hole on Harrow has been addressed.
I’d clean up Wellington Crescent too, but I haven’t memorized the locations of those drains.
The narrative of “Noel Goes to Hooters” is suffused with themes of Family. So when we see Hooters Panda negotiate access to Lee’s room with Nurse Ladybug, we understand that whatever her relationship with him is inside Hooters, outside they are, in some way we don’t yet understand, Family.
Did anyone drop an edible on Wellington Crescent last night? Because I think this deer ate it.

This is my favourite label in the house, and not just because Luda makes great Pho.
Winnipeg infrastructure has really stepped up its safety game since the events in Wolseley last week.
It appears Nusya Pressey has passed away. She attended U of W in the late ‘80s. If you remember a punk rocker who was around the Uniter and CKUW back then, that was probably her. No other details except I saw her older brother’s obituary from January, and it said she had predeceased him.
