I don’t know why the BBC would put a horror serial on in the middle of an evening family comedy sketch show. But they did and I still carry the psychological trauma of The Phantom Raspberry Blower of Old London Town to this day.

Just finished reading Susan Cooper’s “Over Sea, Under Stone.” Fortunately, my copy is the lovely 1982 Puffin edition & not one of the more recent ones.

Fewer of you may be aware of Clarence Redd's Mythras-based "Odd Soot," set in a weird 1920s in which #Doggerland never sank: www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/2...

I’ve been fascinated by those odd closed, hidden, & half forgotten underground railway/ subway stations since my first viewing of Neverwhere on the Beeb. I’m glad that Franklin Square is reopening. But a selfish part of me will miss the thrill of seeing it on PATCO on the way into Philly. 🔔
