*sucks teeth* sorry, mate, think you’ll find that’s a structural Jesus
how theory are we talking? I like the edited collection “what is history now” and not only because I’m in it… I also tend to recommend Ulkina Rublack’s Concise Companion to History which has these essays
@youngvulgarian.marieleconte.com omg marie a friend sent this picture from her US hotel room tv this week
MY son would never hit someone out of nowhere, he must have been provoked by YOUR child
oh so now your preferred method of travel is plain old “walking”, huh
Friday definitely hotter in London than today — but there is now a red warning until Friday at 9pm and an amber warning until Saturday night so I presume it’s just a timing thing

we did get 2 emails in the early days of the pandemic that made me cry with laughter: both this incredibly dramatic warning and the later one when we could access campus again which basically told us to bring back the dangerous contraband we’d all smuggled home from labs and say no more about it
the rest of it is somehow *worse* than this but not as clippable
these ChatGPT book promo emails have become more frequent — this is about Is Free Speech Under Threat, I’ve also had them about Imperial Island — and godddd, this cadence, this tone, this vocabulary. why did they teach AI to write like this?!
