It’s been 8 years since we met and adopted the best little puppy anyone could ask for. We love you Boots ❤️
With my general disappointment in the video game industry as of late, I’ve found myself going back and collecting some games I used to love or missed out on so I figured I’ll share some of my finds! Today both Tenchu and Tenchu 2 arrived from eBay 🥷 #retrogames
It has been a week since the last Microsoft major layoff event & I found myself looking through so many great times with those no longer at the studio I had the pleasure of working with in Elder Scrolls Online @ginabruno.bsky.social @thefinninator.bsky.social @slashlurk.bsky.social ❤️
I tend to play Turok as each summer as its one of my favorite games, and I just noticed another difference in the cover art from @nightdivestudios.bsky.social remastered. I knew they had Tal Set instead of Joshua on the cover (which makes more sense) but the blood is removed in one version 🤔
@bethesda.net was founded 40 years ago! They’ve created my favorite game of my favorite series as well the reason I have met so many amazing people/been given so many amazing opportunities in the gaming space @elderscrolls.bethesdastudios.com
A bit awkward of a review on this one. I love the @limitedrungames.com physical version of this collection and it works great! On the other hand I guess nostalgia was a bigger factor than I thought because these 2 games were wayyy rougher to play than I remembered 🫠
30 years ago the #N64 launched in Japan and it’s still one of my favorite consoles. What better way to celebrate than to fire it up for some couch split screen. Spoilers Yoshi did not win in Mario Party despite the prediction 🤣
For Father’s s Day my wife me taco bake and I’m clearly enjoying a reasonable amount for lunch 😂
With all the #destinythegame talk recently I’ve found it fun to think back on all the great times I had with the series. I had some serious issues with the business models, but it was undeniably fun
Couldn’t remember the last time I played a JRPG and I had never completed the original Final Fantasy. This was a great remaster & exactly what I was in the mood to play for a few hours! 💎
I finally did what everyone says to do & give a “Souls Game” time. I thought the world design was amazing & creative, I loved the vibe it had…but I still just don’t like the gameplay. I see the appeal, I just don’t find it fun to actually play, but I’m glad I finished Elden Ring
Start your week off with a new episode of BOTH podcasts I co-host! Available now on your podcatcher of choice ⚔️
Kind of random but something I’ve been mentioning on stream or on the podcasts for years, I love the UI of the new Tomes in @TESOnline is designed like parchment so it fits the setting!
Another awesome remaster from NightDive Studios for another #PLAYSTATIONTROPHIES Platinum 🏆. Also shown my OG N64 copy 🤩
I love Quake but those expansions on solo nightmare made this a pretty tough Platinum Trophy 🏆
I can’t believe I woke up to read that Camel is gone… dude was so much fun to chat with and we joked we’d work around the massive time difference where we lived one day for him to join an episode of the podcast, but that unfortunately will never happen now 💔. Rest well friend
Really let down to hear about the closure of Bluepoint Studios. I still can’t believe what an unbelievably good job they did on the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall. 🔥
So the Legend of Zelda series had its 40th Anniversary yesterday & these would be my personal favorites in the series, including Ocarina of Time being tie for one of my favorite games overall. ⚔️
Internet: Have you heard Unreal Tournament 2004 is now available for free with all the patches to make it work on modern PCs? Me: Maybe…::while pulling out my physical disc version from my game shelf to look at again while playing. (No you don’t actually need the physical disc, its a download 🤣)
Not a big fighting game player and bought this collection just for Power Stone 1 & 2, but ended up having much more fun than expected with all the games.
