A chunk of scotch fillet wrapped in bacon on the rotisserie tonight. A couple of Black Russians and some McLaren Vale GSM.
Deglaze pan with tomato paste and red wine then add to pot and bring to the boil.
Roast them bones etc nice and dark. Into the pot but leave the dripping to roast the veggies in.
So inspired by @rogueytwinkles.bsky.social the weekend beef glaze process begins.
You must be awake Rachael. Quite late here. Had a few drinks for a Friday at home. What’s up there?
Good win for the Reds. Good seats too. Also Serbian Club beer and chevap pre game.
The humble burger. Really just an excuse to eat meat with your hands. Ingredients in alt.
The day after Yasi. Sound up, headphones are better. We got 280ml of rain that day.
In other news my son’s partner delivered us twin girls, quite early but all are well.
A day indoors due to weather etc. Osso with mild Cacicciatori and red wine.
Similar fabric here in South Australia. No new beers for me tonight, just a 750ml Coopers Sparkling Ale and a McLaren Vale Red wine. I have a 13.6% Whiskey barrel aged imperial stout from Uraidla Brewery in the Adelaide hills for tomorrow when I have someone to share it with.
That is an old tome. I remember that one from way back. Required reading. Osso Buco Ravioli here tonight.
