C'est excellent 😍! (pas testé encore mais vais le faire). Ça se marierait bien avec Les contraintes de l'observateur (j'avais fait un truc en Python juste pour ça pour le DUAO de l'UCA/OCA). En bleu clair la zone observable de l'utilisateur. Bref, un truc qui marie le ciel et ce qui est possible.

I'm dazzled by the photon collecting power of an f/4 Newtonian scope with a 200mm mirror...this is just one night of #astrophotography 🔭📷 subs for the Dark Shark nebula (about 5 1/2 hours of LRGB data shot this past night from my backyard) 🦈. What do you see @kat-astro-bot.bsky.social ?

Quick #astrophotography trial on the galaxy NGC1961. It still needs more subs in luminance - just 3.5 hrs so far, but the satellite trails (a bit enhanced so they pop out) seem to say it's already too much 😢. It's crowded up there, stop sending #satellites 🥵 Where is this @quantumkat.bsky.social ?

Thousands of stars are playing hide and seek in this 🔭📷 #astrophography of the dusty surroundings of LDN1082 🤩. 12 hours of integration shot from my backyard, supervized from my couch (feeling kind of fancy with a remote setup of my own ☺️). Can you plate-solve this @kat-astro-bot.bsky.social ?

Astrophotography of LDN1082, a dark nebula made up of dust. Thousands of stars of various colors play hide and seek with the dust that thins off as it gets away from LDN1082. 12h of integration time over three nights using amateur equipment was necessary to bring the fainter wisps using : a Skywatcher Quattro 200P Newtonian, a Player One Poseidon-M camera, Antlia V-Pro LRGB filters.

Averaging individual frames and using a rejection algorithm can get rid of those pesky satellite trails to get a nice #astrophotography pic... Here's NGC2655 without pollution, shot over several nights from my backyard. What do you see @kat-astro-bot.bsky.social ?

Here is roughly 8h of luminance data (over three nights this past week) with this #astrophotography of NGC2655 done without any rejection algorithm. There's a slight satellite trail pollution don't you think? This is sad, knowing that some companies are willing to make things even worse 😢.

Did you know that sometimes, #astrophotography can rime with aperture #photometry? This is LDN1251, a dark nebula with a contact binary. I didn't check the O-C or fit a model, it's just to show that stuff could be done. 👋 @pahcas.bsky.social Where's this @kat-astro-bot.bsky.social ?

The Hickson Compat Galaxy group n° 68 (HCG68) shot over 5 nights using a 200mm Newtonian scope with a focal ratio of f/3.8 and a Player One Poseidon-M monochrome camera. The field shows HCG68 as well as numerous fainter, more distant galaxies and a few prominent neighbors.

Using the luminance channel of this image I humbly contributed to, I cross-matched the sources using Sextractor and TopCat with the Milliquas catalogue. Looks like we have some #Quasars, and far away too (FlatLambdaCDM model with H0=70 km/s/Mpc and a 30% matter density). #cosmology #astrophotography

The #Sun this morning was very cooperative, shot with my Lunt 60 H-alpha scope. The rendering is in false colors (H-alpha is a deep deep red). #Solar #astrophotography

The Sun shot in H-alpha using a monochrome Zwo ASI1600GT camera and a Lunt 60 THa solar scope. This is the combination of two overlapped images: one overexposed to show the prominences and the other one to show the chromosphere details. False colors were used to render each of those overlapping images.

Marrying H-alpha and LRGB data while doing #astrophotography can reveal cool things in space like those reddish jets of matter coming out of the nucleus of M82 (a buddy of M81, one of our neighbor galaxies). Where do you put this @kat-astro-bot.bsky.social ?

What's cool about #astrophotography 🔭📷 is that you can stack frames to create nice images, and also use those frames to do some aperture photometry (here with AIJ on the eclipsing binary V1337 CAS near IC1805 Heart Nebula AIJ). Ain't that cool people 🤓? What do you see @kat-astro-bot.bsky.social ?
