As stated earlier Alts The mimic tries to nourishes itself for as much as it can, it takes it's time playing and ensuring whatever it has caught doesn't pass out.

Abandoned Castle - Warden The fox crusader has drawn a lot of the attention of the abandoned castle's inhabitants, and passed down to the warden of the dungeon. Whom was less than thrilled to hear he had an escapee. Hunting down and collecting the fox, he ensured correction is to be had.
