We should just find a way to feed the Felon King and Heggy the same food being served to our sailors on the Lincoln. The same exact meals. no diet cokes either. just whatever this horror show is.
so many photos I came across were super boring, but this one is awesome.
I have much nostalgia for this thing... it was at my grandmother's home when I would visit (probably more for my male cousins as normally girls didn't get "boyish" things in my early childhood). Took a bit to find a picture of it.
I only went to the Canadian side on a trip many years ago, but it was really quite nice. We were there in the winter so it was quiet... but I really enjoyed seeing it in person. The lights at night are even cooler! I think it's been made more vibrant in recent years, this was 2009.
I'm pretty sure Petrichor is snorting the catnip through the hole he made in the bag. Ethel is just waiting for him to finish destroying it. I got it away in time to refill the actual tub and stash the rest in another bag in case it's leaking out from his DIY alterations.
Cute. Comments AND Quote posts are blocked so I can't just respond. "Whoever made this..."? Generative AI made it. If the message is important, it's worth finding real artists doing real work. Pride edition AI Gen Slop watermark by yours truly.
Sometimes the worst situations are fabulous inspiration for parody...
I feel like Petrichor would probably try to sleep on books if there was a Petri sized space on any of my overpacked shelves. He will settle for napkins and paper towels.
I took this photo in 2023, and It looked fine to me back then. I was actually really impressed with the "fancy" part of DC and the overall experience was very positive as a "tourist" for a few days. I'm happy I saw some stuff before Dick Tater started playing demolition on our tax dime.
I don't have the energy to flesh out a real book proposal... but this was a favorite read of mine from a long while back... popped up in my timeline again as a memory, so I realized it might be a easily adjusted to fit today's hellscape. Free idea if you want to write it! Full alt-text too.
I guess "artificial intelligence" or "generative AI" would be good names. Please label the AI generated slop. I'm sure people will still gleefully consume it, but it helps to inform everyone the image they're swooning over is fake & made of stolen data.
When I was 12 I drew this #Wolverine comp... My dad loved it, and made a poser size of it for me at work, and everyone else just made a stink about how I referenced "real" #comics artists, & how that made it not count as it wasn't 100% original Now genAI is 1000% worse & no one cares for some reason
my apologies to whoever is in this original photo. This is what I think of every time someone says "Epic Fury"
In other news, even a very flat box is desirable to my cats. Petrichor is using the flap as a chin rest.
It was hard to get a photo because I had to open the door due to snow covering the storm door window. tried in vain to protect my "identity" by blurring the background so sorry for that but I don't know any other simple way to obscure google-able property photos. Still snowing hours later.
DJT is basically just a magic 8 ball of bad responses. Nothing he says is trustworthy or rational or likely to stay the same when you ask again later.
Yeah makes me think of this poster someone sent me once, showing the cost of various common health issues "out of pocket" vs NHS. Let's just say if I ever have a heart attack I hope I'm in the UK somewhere. The oop costs in UK wouldn't even cover my deductible here in the US.
Admittedly I noticed a headline about this thing a few days ago and did a screenshot because this one comment was so great. "Death Ball Sponge sounds like a 90s grunge band"
Reality has come in the form of a message telling me to go look at my premiums for my ACA plan (through NJ marketplace). I've kept the same plan for a while now, and every year the cost increased, but this year it's far worse. this will be 20% of my net income, not including USING the plan.
I texted this to you as well but it was worth sharing. Happy Birthday to one of my favorite people, a rare find in the wilds of the twixxy drama fields.
Seriously Ticketmaster? Haven't you learned ANYTHING? We are sick of the scammy nature of this barrier between us and entertainment. Not everyone is disgustingly wealthy and the arts should not be gatekept from the middle and low income majority to pad your already padded back pockets.
Mother's day is a strange one that hasn't felt very good since losing my mother in 2015. Sometimes I am like a mom, and I apply motherly love/concern my cats... but mostly I am just someone who carries the burden of grief. Happy "thank goodness this trigger is over" day.
Ethel also likes shoes... she may actually want to BE a shoe. Not sure. As she's a cat. and doesn't talk. or even meow actually (she is a whisper cat, occasional a squeaker).
Not that I had any issues with the guy but for some reason this is what my brain made me do:
They're just deporting anyone they feel like deporting for no reason at all even if they're married, have a green card, no criminal record, etc. If you are here legally on a green card or work visa, just know that they're not being very rational about who can leave/return.
I mean, this felt like a very loaded prompt: If you see this, post a monster.
