It's interesting that my Perseverance is so high when my Determination is so low 😅 It makes sense in the description though. Still, love that Kindness is #1 💗

Sooo I honestly thought I'd only get a couple of kids, or maybe none at all. I wasn't expecting this and now I'm so nervous that my stomach is doing summersaults 😅 Super excited, but so nervous!

Finally got the chance to play Hive! I admit, it was a lot more fun than I expected. It's simpler than chess but with its own complications. Haven't played with any of the expansions though.

And my blind date is.... The Peculiar Gift of July by Ashley Ream! I've never even heard of this book before but the synopsis looks really sweet 💕 I'll start on this tomorrow. Who knows? Maybe this will be a book I recommend for my own list of 100 Books to Read!

It might sound strange, but now I want to make game mechanics *specifically* for running courtroom dramadies like these.

"More Dungeons and Dragons courtroom drama adventure seeds:
- The Sword of Evil's Bane has been claimed by multiple Chosen Ones, each citing equally plausible but mutually exclusive interpretations of the relevant prophecy.
- A family haunted by an evil ghost that's sworn to bedevil them unto the tenth generation have gone through an acrimonious divorce, and are now embroiled in a bitter custody dispute over the ghost - each side of the family wants the other to take it!
- A farmer is suing a tree for property damage caused by the tree's roots; the tree argues that, as the damage occurred prior to the tree's awakening by an itinerant druid, it cannot be held responsible, while the farmer states an obscure local case in which an axe was convicted of murder as precedence that sentience is immaterial to culpability."

I don't know if anyone uses #WeTransfer but if you do, you might want to stop and remove all your content ASAP.

Section 6.3 of their user agreement titled "License to WeTransfer". It includes granting "perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty free, transferable sub-licensing license to use your Content [to] improve performance of machine learning models [...] Such license includes the right to reproduce, distribute, modify, prepare derivative works based upon, broadcast, communicate to the public, publicly display, and perform Content. You will not be entitled to any compensation for any use of Content by us under these terms."

We got our copy of Cvlt, a tricky trick-taking game by @long-tail-games.bsky.social and have had so much fun! So far we've played 2 and 4 players and it's crazy how different it get. Even when I came in last, it was great to see how risks taken by other players came together for them! 🔗👇

MiniNewt got the day off from school so decided to make us breakfast x3 Unicorn Salad is lettuce, baby carrots, grapes, and strawberries, and ranch dressing. I wouldn't recommend it, but I'm glad she had fun experimenting!

2. Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger First Thoughts I know the title, but I have no idea what this book is about. It's the only book that's on all 10 lists I cross-ref'ed though, so that counts for something. I'm having trouble starting this, but I have a big trip coming up, so that should change.

What happens when you give DND steroids and replace the rules so they have more anime-like effects? Exalted :D A mix of 1e and 2e is my favorite.
