6 years removed from losing this nugget right before lockdown and the grief sucks, but I often find myself missing the quiet understanding of a dog. Between work and 2 kids under 8 (one with pet allergies🤦🏿♂️), life isn’t gonna let it happen now. But I look forward to the experience someday.
They’ve got the challenge of attracting, teasing story with a sole image, and sticking in people’s mind. I still love this House of M cover by Joe Quesada that did an incredible job of short-form storytelling.
Most fun I had this weekend: setting up a new vinyl listening station in our living room. Upgraded to a 1st Gen U-Turn Orbit with a Fosi mini-amp and some new JBL bookshelf speakers. Not a bad day, at all. 😌 (Playing “I Got It Good” ft. Craig David from Kaytranada’s “99.99%”

Of my 5 tattoos, I only have one (maybe 2) that are visible while wearing short sleeved shirt. I’m overdue on a small shoulder piece for my 4-year old, but after that I kinda wanna go for something larger than I’ve done before.
I’ll cop to some recency bias, but I think I liked this album more than “Timeless” for its focus and vibe. “99.9%” is still my favorite Kaytranada LP, but this is the second one I’ll have in physical format.
