You can't solve 21st century problems with 20th century party politics... and definitely not with a 19th century voting system. It's time to move on from First Past the Post - and recognise that if we're going to get things done, we need a system where everyone's voices are heard.

It was so encouraging to hear about the progress being made for people living with chronic and recurrent UTIs. There is still much more to do, but bringing patients, clinicians and campaigners together is an important part of securing real change.

Dr Cat Anderson and Mr Sachin Malde updated us on the Delphi study and how it could support the development of future UTI guidance. Miss Maga Kujawa spoke about the national audit of UTI care, while Rebecca Porta and Helen Lake presented the completed mapping of specialist UTI clinics.

It was fantastic to host the second meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on UTIs in Parliament yesterday. I set up the group after hearing from my constituent Phoebe, who has lived with a Chronic UTI for years and has spoken so consistently and bravely about the reality of the condition.

Great buildings make great communities. Oru Sutton is one of those - and it was great to be given a proper tour by the Royal Institute of British Architects recently. This project has played a key role in growth of our high street and was recently announced as a winner in the RIBA London Awards.

Jury Trials aren't the reason we have a huge backlog in the courts - so there's no excuse for scrapping them. Earlier today I pushed the Govt to get serious about unblocking our legal system without attacking a vital part of our democracy.

Great to attend the 'In Conversation with the Hindu Community' event today in Parliament. British Hindus have made a huge, enriching contribution to so many parts of our society and our economy. I will continue to stand up for members of the community in Sutton, Cheam, Worcester Park and beyond.

My local Lib Dem colleagues and I have today written to the Minister of State for Health to get clarity on the possible relocation of Women's Health Services from St Helier due to safety concerns. Time and time again we see that it is women bearing the brunt of our neglected healthcare system.

2016 feels a lot longer than a decade ago. The world has changed, and we must look forward, not back. We must rejoin the Single Market, fix our broken politics and invest in the infrastructure that will make all of our lives better.

One in two people will either develop dementia or care for someone who does in their lifetime. This week I met with Alzheimer’s Research UK to learn more about the great progress in prevention, treatment and one day finally curing dementia. We must keep supporting their vital work.

In all the reporting periods since nationalisation, SWR's already bad performance has become even worse. As with so much else with this Govt, the positive impacts are yet to be felt because they are delivering change at a snail’s pace. For now, like too many SWR trains, they're delayed.

Today marks the start of Pride Month. I am proud to champion a borough full of so many wonderful people in the LGBT+ community. It's important to celebrate the progress we've made with LGBT+ rights and continue stand by their side in the face of new threats around the world.
