Republicans forgot the Mark Sanford scandal? The "Where in the World is Waldo/Mark Sanberg" scandal? Answer: Just hiking the Appalachian Trail to disconnect (with his wife & hook-up with his mistress in Buenos Aires, while misusing tax payer monies/aircraft for his affair). They don't care.
Big supporter of yours, Sen. Warren, but... ...you must address how you're deciding your endorsements going forward—what changes have you made deciding your support of a candidate since you endorsed Platner. I was shocked you endorsed Platner—it was the 1st time you & I parted ways. Until then...
I agree with his quote as it pertains to Republican committees and a Republican administration. I completely disagree when looking through the lens of Democrats. I'm reading Obama's, The Promised Land. Every move was deliberate & included people with expertise. Democrats lead with skill.
Geez, this guy speaks about himself in third person just like his buddy, Trump. 🙄
Trump spews his wrath on anyone not giving him what he wants, the minute he wants it. When doing a quick Google search about Trump's behavior one will find this...
A day to rejoice. Trump's name is coming down. I'm going to get used to this feeling. #KennedyCenter #Trump'sNameComingDown
The echo chamber that Trump and other Republicans live inside makes it hard for them to believe that life happening outside those heavily-constructed worlds still exists. PSA to GOP: Don't believe everything you see/hear on Fox News Entertainment, X, and/or Truth Social.
(Totally off-topic here...love your profile pic...totally in the vein of Darren from the Bewitched television series.)
As for a poems, The Station by Robert Hastings has been one I've mentioned over and over again to friends—always relevant. And, Kahil Gibran's poem, On Marriage, in his book, The Prophet. I've recommended it for all my loved ones getting married—words to live by for happiness.
I enjoy this part of FAFO. Definite schadenfreude. The only party I feel sorry for are the cows and the farmers who didn't vote for Trump.
I think this is the ONLY time that I've disagreed with Elizabeth Warren. For me, Platner is not my guy.
A total fucking embarrassment on so many levels. I laughed out loud looking at that test. Each day gets more insane. Here's a (legit) classy song that really should be the soundtrack to our everyday, especially looking at this test. Listen to it—you'll be surprised how catchy it is—and cathartic.
Brilliant! I would love this so much. And, if it was @gtconway.bsky.social suing, it would burn Trump even more.
I'm disappointed to see that Keanu is asking for leniency for a guy who stole $11 million dollars for luxury items. Not food. Not to pay his mortgage because he was about to lose his home. But because the dude wanted a Swiss watch and multiple luxury cars. I have no pity for his thief.
Love it when I learn a new word. In this case, it's "failsons." Choosing this word equals perfection...true magnificence. For anyone curious, see below:
There are laws saying that a living person CANNOT have their face on our currency. Trump CANNOT have his face on our currency. We must ALL push back on this illegality. We will NOT accept this transgression.
(Came here to communicate how refreshing it is that you included the possibility of a female president. I believe America is ready for it, too.)
This is what we mean when we say that legislators need to stay out of women's healthcare and leave it to the doctors. Full stop. And...everybody better start operating from the perspective that these things can and do happen to you and your loved ones when preaching from your pulpits—and voting.
If this is the binary choice, the answer is easy for me. Having a party founded on ethical and moral beacons guides others to know what to expect, how to behave, & ideals to strive toward. That's AOC energy. MTG's energy is more of an unguided missile—dangerous. She's more "reaction" than action.
Yes. And let's not forget how he said he would just "grab them by the pussy," too. The "them" he's talking about isn't exactly clear so it's safe to assume it's all girls—since Billy Bush referenced his "girl" earlier in the conversation. Knowing what we know now about Epstein...anything goes.
