18. The buzz of a lifetime artist: Knapsack The only LP from Knapsack (aka gabby start) and it is a banger. Lots of songs about growing up, moving on with your life, and psychedelics. Really moving album for sure.
17. tangible dynamics artist: Aosaki Chinese hip-hop (something you dont hear every day), really fantastic beat tape. I looove the really compressed production style on certain tracks. Makes the drums feel huge.
16. GAIA 脱俗 .ROM artist: R∞ I wish I could put R∞'s whole discography here. Very sick mixture of synthwave, chiptune, and vaporwave. About as underground as it gets.
15. on my own artist: Scro Scro's style mixes glitchy dnb with nasty metalcore riffs, emo vocals, and some very tough metal screams. These songs all come from a place and make for an unforgettable listen.
14. Passion of the Heist artist: I Am Abomination Ridiculously catchy metalcore about a human being abducted by aliens, turning into one of their kind, and betraying humanity to become a god. Caleb from Beartooth features on it as well!
13. See How Much of It Stays artist: Gavin Avenue Ethereal indie folk pop that is _criminally_ unknown. If you've made it this far into the thread, please give this a spin. Your ears will thank you.
12. OH KAY artist: Ando San Extremely technical thump-style guitar tuned so low it hits like an 808 with some unique lyrics and flows over the top. It's like the rhymthic parts of Animals as Leaders mixed with rap. Fantastic record.
11. Fool's Gold artist: vmrrobotic & TURQUOISEDEATH Atmospheric drum n bass / breakcore, one of my favorite records to come from the movement. Beautiful pads, fancy drum work, and some anime samples for good measure.
10. HONEY BABY: I LOVE IT WHEN YOU CALL ME THAT ! artist: chase usa Blinding punk rock with rap/hip-hop influences and ambient interludes. References to pornstars, Kingdom Hearts, Studio Ghibli and more. One of the most unique listening experiences I've ever had.
9. Postmoskva20 artist: ugly nick & lowdan Mesmerizing lofi house with fantastic sample choices. Incredible for when you need to focus on programming or art.
8. Running as fast as I can artist: william crooks Guess I like dudes in ski masks lol. This is one of the best rap albums I've ever heard. Very loud and experimental production, really fun lyrics, and great features.
7. MR. BIG BAG artist: Intentions Delightfully chaotic hyperpop revival. Tons of sickeningly sweet melodies and catchy grooves.
6. Neptune (EP) artist: Killer Bee Criminally unknown beat tape. Killer sampling, fantastic production, and a stellar atmosphere from cover to cover.
5. Love Is A Stream artist: Jefre Cantu-Ledesma My favorite ambient album of all time. It feels so emotionally intense due to all the noise and heavy processing. Feels like a full-body experience.
