I always misremember Terryman as a Dusty Rhodes homage but then I remember that's a guy in the American Tour arc and it's way more obvious
I only experienced the cartoon but I like to think it's got some of the same juice. Mutated zombies and bug sprayers made up most of his fights. He told kids to protect the environment while they drove around the swamp in a giant hummer or something like sure guys, whatever.

Sega built up a lot of good faith last year by collaborating with a legit inline skate company and sponsoring Blade Cup for JSR's 25th birthday, nevermind how much of that game is explicitly about hard-fought human expression. Would be a hell of a thing to trash all that.
