Damnit I love libraries. Went to pick up a book on hold that my therapist recommended and walked out with an excellent haul. They have a huge selection of dvds I don’t typically utilize, but now it’s a “back to the future“ night while I work. Life is good.
Got back from AC a few days ago- thanks to everyone who came around to support what I do! Had a lovely weekend selling at a great (yet despicably hot and humid) con and got to have a lovely dinner with some of my closest friends. Back to the drawing board today! My second attempt at making bai tang gao, Chinese steamed rice cake. My first attempt went down the food disposal since I messed up the steaming, but this one was actually edible (I got a real steamer for it lol)! Still a bit dense in some areas, but we will make adjustments and try again!

Last night got to share a lovely friendsgiving with a group of close friends. Everything was delicious, I ate way too much, and I am incredibly grateful to have so many good people in my life these days. Also, I’ve been in a bread phase and my baguettes turned out PERFECT. Fckn love bread. 🥖

Happy Monday! While I’m still catching up from jet lag, I did indulge in a little treat for myself this weekend and picked up a projector. So last night we had our first backyard movie night! Wine, popcorn, and blankets to accompany our “quiet place day one” viewing. Whole thing was hella fun 💛🍿
