New TTRPG GM crafted tool! Same OSR aesthetic. New take on game tokens. Ring is solid walnut; images etched into clear cast acrylic from behind. Gives a great depth effect, and then high contrast against black. Premium feel. Tons of iteration on these! Will be making boxed sets of 12-16 tokens.

Mayor Pete reminding us all that Stephen Colbert’s time on CBS State Media is coming to a close soon. I’m sad about it. The day I heard about it, I made this magnetic pin design and 3d printed it. I hope to see Stephen go on to do great things after this.

Video shows the depth and other qualities better than the picture. Next time will use registration dowels to help with alignment, cuz I'm off by about half a mm. No bueno! But pretty good for a prototype!

Another cutting board done! This is a smaller one, but endgrain walnut with a chaos trim (paduk, purple heart, maple, wenge). Lotsa work went into this one!

Didn’t know about the electrical grid and dirty (literally) tricks the mining companies play! One thing I will never forget about living near SLC is the mining and refining industrial skyline. Always made me think of The Fright Zone from She-Ra. Also the smell.. both pollution and rotted krill

Made this 9x5.5 in plaque for coworker planning to climb Mt Kilimanjaro on 50th birthday! Not TTRPG related, but a great experience. Dimensioned wood, hand draw the map from the unusable image he gave me, then sanding, chamfer, and finishing w beeswax / mineral oil. ☹️Underpriced but was learning!😄

Making progress on this board! Too bad I don’t have a drum sander… but at least I know where I can go use one!

Prototyped this for a couple weeks. Friend needed to store jewelry they sell on Etsy… had to fit in a Kallex shelf cube. I designed the shelves to slide. They are clear acrylic, but still have a lot of the masking on for shipping. Held together by friction, will glue up. Super happy with this! 😺

Cutting board glue up…. just scraped the squeeze out off. Next week, gonna try to get 4 more boards in the pipeline. Will continue to update as these come together. Only problem is that these parallel clamps are so $$$!! I need at least 4 per board. Gonna need more if I’m gonna batch these
