Here’s one of my nine week old foster kittens, Opika, cuddling with my beloved Minky, almost 19. Opika is the kitten with moderate cerebellar hypoplasia. I love her!
Happy Caturday! Here’s two fosters from a litter of five in 2024. I think Penney and Bernardt but not sure. It’s all a blur! One of my current foster kittens has moderate cerebellar hypoplasia-very wobbly, hard to walk & keep balance. Not painful. Plays and eats well- I help a bit with eating. ❤️🐈⬛
Here are my current foster kittens- panther girls Opika and Oksana, pale gray tabby girl Kaori, & gray tabby boy Daisuke. About seven weeks. Opika has moderate cerebellar hypoplasia. Hard to walk without falling, very wobbly. But she’s a special, determined sweetie!
Happy Caturday! Here’s my new foster kittens, although I’m missing one of the two “panfurs.” Can’t tell them apart. Just over four weeks, will be ready to try “meats” or “meatshakes” soon. Still up middle of night and up very early, can’t wait until I can sleep eight hours.
Meet my new litter of foster kittens, about three weeks old. I have four but two are “panthers” & look exactly alike. Put gold nail polish on one’s tail. Named after Olympic medalist figure skaters. Daisuke (boy gray tabby),Kaori (girl pale gray tabby), Oksana & Opika (panthers).
Happy Caturday! Here are my fosters Cosimo (pink nose) and Cosima from fall 2024. They were adopted together.
Happy Caturday! I fostered these cuties & their Mama (Calpurrnia) in 2024. I got them 24 hours after Calpurrnia gave birth. It was February & she went to a house where they had been feeding her, came in & had babies. Fortuna (left) weighed only 67 grams so I bottle fed her- she grew & was adopted!
Happy Caturday! Here’s the glamour shots for my foster litter of “panthers,” from 2023. Krinkle, PB Blossom, and Spritz. Black cats are the best!
Throwback Thursday- the first kittens I fostered after I retired. Two boys, Renoir (white with black ear) and Botticelli (white with black on head and black spots), and a girl, Musette, calico. So adorable! They were adopted as a trio and I still get updates from the adopters!
Happy Caturday! Here are the “glamour shots” of my fosters Declan (grey tabby) and Rory (girl). The photos are taken at nine week clinic visit. Kittens can be adopted at ten weeks. These precious ones were adopted as a pair.
Happy Caturday! Here are my fosters Lava (orange tabby) and Blaze loving their furever home! I love updates from adopters.
Here’s my newest foster, Frostine, 11 days old. Found with a litter whose mother could not be found. Frostine was the only kitten that survived. Name inspired by Frosty the Snowman stuffie her finder gave her to cuddle. Below weight, adding tube feedings. So feisty & strong. ❤️she needs to make it!
Well, views from our beachfront bungalow in St. Lucia. Planned this trip a year ago, all paid. Enjoying time in this special place with those I love. I’m conflicted as there’s of course hardship & poverty here, but their livelihood depends so much on tourism. Missing my cats; pet sitter texts pix.
Happy Caturday from my former foster babies Odette (mostly white), Oralie (orange tabby with white) and Odile (calico). Odette and Odile were adopted as a pair, and Oralie was adopted with her brother, Oriole.
Iggy (on left) and Lava like the rainbow kitty fleece blankie, and each other🥰
My fosters Lava, Blaze, and Iggy napping with me after a meal. Seven weeks tomorrow. At nine weeks, they go to Bitty Kitty Brigade’s clinic for more vaccines, microchips, & glamour shots! I write their bios for the adoption page.
Meet Blaze, I’ve been fostering him and his brothers since they were 1.5 weeks old. They’ll be five weeks old tomorrow and ready to start weaning, which can be quick or take several weeks. Blaze is a precious boy!
Here’s Lava, I’m fostering him and his two brothers. Three weeks old tomorrow. Up twice a night for feedings, cuddles, & unconditional love.
Oops, fluffy Flicker didn’t make it in my last foster kitten post. A sweet young woman adopted her and named her Lady. So rewarding to see these happy endings.
Past foster kittens Flicker (gray female), Inkling (female with tiny white stripe) and Mooch (male, bigger white stripe). I’m sure they are loved by their furever families! I miss them.
Happy Caturday! My fosters Declan and sister Rory taking a post-lunch nap on this very hot & windy day in October (climate change is real, MAGA). Kittens are seven weeks, both eating meats now, which means I can sleep more! Yay!
Happy Caturday from my sweet six week old fosters, Declan (gray swirly tabby)and Rory (girl, calico or “tabbyco”). They bring fun, joy, and calm.🐾🐾❤️
Here’s an outrage balm- my newest fosters, almost three weeks! Rory (girl, calico) and Declan. Up every 3.5 hours to feed.
