This was my first dog, Goliath. He died a few years ago, but his impact on my life was extraordinary.

Nothing can prepare you for the loss of a pet, but the loss of an emotional support animal is particularly devastating. I'm finding it hard to do literally anything. I had no idea how much of my happiness depended on such a small dog.

I lost my best friend of 16 years yesterday. I'm a mess, but I'd like everyone to just know that she existed, and she was wonderful. Spare a thought for Shahrazad if you can, she was one of a kind.

I was just thinking about The Dark Crystal, and how something never sat right with me about it. At the end of the movie, the Skeksis & Mystics merge, then fuck off into space. They committed genocide & countless atrocities. Real Intergalactic Assholes. Jen should have John Wicked them back to Hell.

Here's a personal anecdote. Why does medication you need to take DAILY to live cost $5,892.10 a month? This was in 2012, and it's cheaper now, but when people ask me what radicalized me, I'll show them this.

I miss the time Pluto was considered a planet. My favorite thing about Pluto is that it's the farthest (dwarf) planet in our solar system from all of humanity's stupidity.
