TBH, I would say the CHARACTER WRITING for last place is good, even better than numbers 100 and 101. But frankly, I think my loathing him - however intentional it was on P5’s part - took priority with every single matchup with him. So bear that in mind, LOL.

Summary:

Yaldabaoth strikes an unconscionable deal with the leader of the Phantom Thieves...but Joker is drained of all his will and strength. What happened to his picaresque justice?

But something even greater than the god of control destroys the world, and Yaldabaoth himself is the conjurer. By killing the living amalgamation of humanity's desires—even as the act severs the strings controlling Joker—he begins to formulate one of the coveted "Reasons," emblematic ideologies with the potential to mold the new world. Now the purgatorial Vortex World hosts swarms of demons (once the shadows of the "Metaverse") and the very few mortal survivors.

Among them is a group of Persona users—six friends who, with help from the mysterious Velvet Room's residents, set out to undo these eldritch machinations. If their world is revived, maybe then, the willful spirit of Ren Amamiya can also heal.

As much as I would’ve loved to have done this experiment without any warning (aside from the date itself 😅), I don’t have the patience to wait before dropping the whole act AND, in recent years, I’ve seen or heard of a few too many pranks that genuinely harmed someone or at least came very close to doing so. I’ve never done any “April Fools’ hijacked account(s) RP” as eccentric as what I’m gonna be trying for. Nothing inventive AFAIK, but it’s new for me. Also, here’s a few points to clarify from my Discord server about my Yakuza 3 playthrough - I haven’t juggled THIS many Twitch playthroughs at once in ages, but especially with SMT3 being sparse and playing P3R DLC offline until the story picks up again, it’ll still be fun!

MagicMaddie (Maddie: Ann/Ryuji Quasi-Simp): To come clean, the initial leak - even if it were fake - was *exactly* what spurred me on to just throw it into the “Current Stream Playthroughs” pile, LOL. I really want to say that at least ONE original Yakuza game got under my belt before its Kiwami remake came around.

Plus, even IF Y3 isn’t as pretty or packed as Y4-6, let alone Y0 onwards, it’s still fun so far, and a breath of fresh air. As much as I love how “modern” Yakuza has looked/played so far, a change of pace is already really nice.

ONE OTHER THING I’ll “come clean” about with Yakuza 3: initially, I misunderstood the “Daigo at Tojo HQ scene” (trying to avoid going into specifics) from the beginning of the game as something *I* missed or forgot, rather than an intentionally unclear plot point to develop as I play…I honestly don’t even remember the details of what I looked up, though, so it shouldn’t be hard to wipe that apparent spoiler clean off my brain. Still, sorry for that. 😅
