A pal took me out for drinks and snacks (so I can be his 17th century fashion tutoress later this month) at a Japanese-run izakaya by the Baltic Sea. We had an interesting chili experience with the teriyaki tofu.

I downloaded OBS at last. Anyhow, a little watercolour art sprite is on the run on my #Godot bezier curves now, and it's following my cursor. Many many little things to iron out x)

In #Godot if I give my bezier curve path a pathfollow child node and give that a 2D sprite node, the sprite gets locked on the path, and I can move it along on the progress slider, like so. Not quite what one is desirous of, but we shall see. We shall see.

A late-night doodle, a bezier curve made with #Godot Path2D node. The shape is a stylised heart which is one of common folkloric runes of protection described in a late 19th century book about Finnish magic runes and other such things. (Dang I wish I could find it on Finna again for reference.)

The next book in my pile (finally got it from my local library): The Story of Capital by David Harvey @davidharvey.org

I, entirely on my own and without outside counsel, thought of this passage in Tao Te Ching and compared it to the symbolification and ultracomplexity of contemporary life where symbols hold more value than reality.

Poetry landed on me in the woods this morning and I hate I missed parts of it, but at least I captured some. It's silly because the second stanza is translated Finnish word-play.

But is there any point to any of it? Well, actually, probably, no. But who knows, maybe everything eventually collides in my subconscious in some meaningful way.
