it's time for the annual rhinoceros study. some 15min on Paint Tool SAI. this time I focused more on the head.

since the #Odissey is (again) all the rage, may I interest you in a literary optical composition of no particular relation to it? you can see a 3D-diorama version of it back at my old #Tumblr blog maperns.tumblr.com/post/7528465... part of a series inspired by the Opt Art of Vasarely (1906–1997)

a square composition containing: a dark grey background; on the upper rirght, a looming triangle with one single semicircle close to irs top; on the lower 2/3s of the composition, 28 white circular shapes – some of them have pointy bits sticking from their underside, one in particular, just in front of the triangle, bear a bright red pointy bit.
