Is Trea Turner going to end up in Cooperstown? I think he can if he can churn out a few 3 WAR seasons over the next 4 years. Idk if his defense can hold up to let him create that value but he's not far off the modern HoF standard for shortstops

The tree that fell in front of my house really did a great job of blocking sunlight coming into my living room and kitchen in the afternoons. Gonna take a long time for a replacement to do half the job of providing shade.

Storm knocked over the tree that was in front of my house today. No one was hurt and the overall property damage appears to be minimal. But my kids are unhappy about a branch taking out the internet

I'm ready for the Phillies to move on from Alec Bohm. It's one thing to be a slightly below defensive third basemen who at least hits doubles. He can't handle fastballs anymore, doesn't barrel up the ball, and is grounding into double plays on a nightly basis because he's got no pull size power

The Flyers, who won a 6 game series in the first round, have been schedule to play 2 games in the 2nd round before the Sabres and Canadiens play their first game. That makes no sense to me.
Sixers beat Boston in the playoffs for the first time in my lifetime.

We enjoyed our time in West Virginia. Daughter decided we weren't doing Maryland Heights but we ended our trip with an awesome rafting ride down the Shenandoah. I hope they remember me as a Dad who encourages them to experience and appreciate life
