Happy to be inking on paper, we've had two power outages and are currently without.
I'm currently inking and I love/fear this step so much. I love it because it's black ink on paper(magic, I'm pretty sure), it's the final step, and progress is very easy to measure. Also, I get to bust out my brass section I fear it because it's what readers will see and inking is just plain hard.
a month ago a budgie fell out of the sky and into our family, now she's exploring her room and perched on me for the first time.
genuinely satisfied at the way this looks like a sphere in space, casting a shadow on it's rings. especially at preview scale.
I was hoping to eventually get the rescued budgie to be friends with my cockatiel, so I was looking up how to introduce them etc.. maybe I won't after all
I went one step further and incorporated more of the water damaged image into this page. It's kinda perfect that it's this meteor-collision page that is intended to be chaotic and messy
For the first time, I'm at Montreal comicon at my published table, 1003. Come check it out!
I did it, here it is, incorporated into the first panel. I think it works, I need time to see it with fresh eyes
Everyone has been shitting on the new Ferrari EV, and i agree. I don't like it. From this angle it looks like it's going to give birth to an actual Ferrari and the baby is crowning.
Quote-Post with something that is a circle!⭕️ Every cover of my books features a circle or concentric circles depicting the volume you're reading.
It's a friend's birthday today, but he took his own life last year. Bernie drew a pinup for me, that I've made into a print that I have for sale here homecomics.ca/collections/... All proceeds from the sale of this print will go to mental health awareness, thanks.
here it is, cleaned up and tones applied. Some minor changes made if you look close enough.
Pretty happy with the inks on this panel. I'll move the bottom row of text digitally, it's a little snug rn
8 years ago, my Parisian friend sent me this photo of a mural in a bar he went to, painted by cartoonist Ludovic Debeurme. He was struck by the likeness, and so was I, tbh it became my profile pic for a while
