... plant's cooling system has created a massive and protected sanctuary for the American crocodile. The environment is perfectly suited for them. The canals circulate water keeping the waterways warm and ideal for nesting. Its pretty amazing. A bit of a win imo as they were nearly extinct.

Today marks 40 years since the release of Big Trouble in Little China. One of my very favorite movies of all time. I was a Sophomore in High School and saw this at the Scottsdale 6 Drive In theater that was on Mckellips (long gone now) with a bunch of friends, packed 6 deep in each car.

The fact that anyone aside from this piece of plague tinged rat excrement is astounding.
I was just raging with vet techs at the pet hospital about the dog that the LAPD shot in the head. Two of the techs that work there are about 5' 4" and handle much bigger dogs than this, get bit by much bigger, more aggressive dogs than this. 20 LAPD pigs killed this dog. Fucking despicable pigs.
This Chonk is called Thai Musk Melon. It grows like cucumbers, looks like them too, seeds are identical in appearance. Taste is like cucumber and melon. This stuff grows like mad so next time around I may do the "1 pot, 1 plant, 1 melon" method instead of raised beds.
Today's stuff. Every week we get about 24 cucumbers. The long squash are called Zucchini Rampicante. The shorter green one is a Long De Nice. If you leave them on the vine they'll become winter squash. I prefer them as summer squash, you can still eat the skin. Tomatoes & jalapeno are picked daily.
There was much rejoicing in Orlando last night. The Abbey in downtown holds about 350 people. A Kevin Bong and Jonny Cosmic show brings out a very groovy crowd, songs you can sing to and a message of love. Love is the answer.

Zucchini Rampicante! When they start coming in, they get huge in just days. This is my favorite time of year. Onions, Garlic, Jalapenos, Okra, Tomato, and Basil. This is my first pan of veggies, entirely grown in my garden. Nothing store bought except the seasoning.
