Really cranky. Queer/pan and disabled. She/her, they/them. Likes WoW, social justice, cute animals, chocolate, N95s. Follower of Canadian politics. Dartmouth, NS. Blocked most of you for boosting Gen AI slop misinformation.
Wednesday was in my lap last night and that’s the second time she’s done that since she was 1 (she’s 3) and the last time she did that was when I should have gone to the hospital for appendicitis. Hopefully it was just a cat scan to make sure I’m okay.

Dear Nova Scotia dog folks: This sweet senior boy in Beach Meadows is looking for a foster or a rehome situation due to his family’s medical needs. He is available now and has friends who will transport him. (Elder Dog is currently full) www.facebook.com/story.php?st...
I’m probably going to regret bringing this up, but the pet rehoming organization My Grandfather’s Cat keeps referring to people making the “noble” decision to choose MAiD. Spouting propaganda about MAiD is not necessary for the work they do, they could do that work without mentioning MAiD at all.
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith: “If a child needs to be removed from a school environment… because they need to learn to self regulate, let's do that too. …You can earn your way of course into inclusion, but you can earn your way out of it too." #ableism #disability Video fr The Breakdown, Facebook
Some of you follow this person being a real creep about an economics professor criticizing Carney on Women and Gender Equality.
In case anyone missed the adorable wholesome photo of astronaut Slimey that Sesame Street posted to Facebook:
Help me #WorldOfWarcraft housing people: how did this person make their bathtub water look blue with floating flowers? (They sit because the tub is on a platform and a stool is sunken into the platform under the tub. Image from wowhead: www.wowhead.com/housing-buil...
Agatha is a medium haired kitten in the sense that she has a longhaired mane, underarms, bloomers and tail, but the rest of her fur is fairly short. She looks gorgeous and ridiculous. Here she is trying to open a set of IKEA drawers. She has previously succeeded.
Oh my goodness, this is so wholesome. Someone lost their princess poodle stuffie around March 4/5 on Barrington Street in Halifax Nova Scotia. And a redditor rescued them and gave them a spa day to clean them up in hopes of being able to reunite them with their child. www.reddit.com/r/halifax/s/...
Today in adorable adoptables that I can’t have from the Dartmouth Nova Scotia SPCA, so you should please take them home furever: Sweet 11 year old Moka, “a gentle, affectionate companion who truly loves being close to her people”. www.novascotiaspca.ca/how-you-can-...
For people who have never seen Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, Wikipedia has pictures of Mark Carney. He doesn’t look like that Gen AI slop Mark Carney. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Ca...
I have to get up to go to the bathroom soon but there is a cuddle pile against my legs.
I think that every Nova Scotia public service employee should call in sick on 4/20 in response to Tim Houston’s back-to-office mandate. Here is the reply I got from MLA Brad McGowan’s assistant, in response to my mandate objections related to traffic congestion and COVID-19.
My senior kitties never got on the counters in their lives. But Wednesday will proudly pose for photos up there.
