Next wk I'm heading to London to present for the DTG's Accessibility and User Experience Group. I'll be talking about EAD (Enhanced Audio Description) and providing accessibility to visually impaired audiences through sound design. Taking our new wireless headphones on a road trip 🎧

It was a pleasure to stop by the Research Spotlight exhibition yesterday to say hello to Suranjana Bose and Richard Gammons from Chemistry and to learn more about their work. And I got to meet the famous Little Green Chemist, who was designed and knitted by one of the PhD students 🌱❤️

Thanks to everyone who joined my talk at @yorkfestofideas.bsky.social. I presented on sound heritage without mentioning one white male scholar/designer because I'm fed up of hearing presenters talk about the silenced voices of the past and then just continue to marginalise voices in the present.
