At Maine Health oncology & they refused my ADA accommodations set up. So they refused to draw blood to check my cancer. The ADA is not in their patient rights book that they gave me. The practice head told me staff had the right to refuse to wear a respirator & they refused.

This sounds like Costello believes the magical Campaign fairy is going to appear and provide all you need to win. Volunteers don’t just come with the territory you have to earn our support and this is not the way. You have to dial for dollars. Campaigning is work this man doesn’t do the work.

You think you don’t have to work your ass off if you win? If you win, you’ll have to dial for dollars every day. If you win, you’ll have to work.

A movement only works if everyone takes responsibility for it. If we understand that one leader cannot save us. If we understand that we are living under something closer to a fascist state than a functioning democracy, then we have to expect more: from candidates, from campaigns, from organizations, and from ourselves.

Graham said, “I don’t trust politicians. That’s why I’m doing this. I don’t want to just help build a movement that’s going to be able to hold other people in power accountable. It’s also going to be able to hold me accountable.” Will the movement, as it actually exists today, hold him accountable?

If not — what are we willing to do about it? Graham is one imperfect person. A real transformative political revolution changes the system. Silencing dissent and targeting survivors who speak out is not revolutionary but patriarchy in action.

Organize. Make a list of 10 people. See who they are voting for. Have them contact 10 people.
We have the power to win this race. We are the engine that runs the world. We are the free labor: the volunteers.
We are the small dollar donors.
We are the people who write the letters to the editor.
We are the ones who knock every door.
Do not forget this is what people power is.
Bring it. Be in it to win it.

Marie, I wanted to send you wishes & hopes for a happy July 4th
Independence Day. We both know, there are bad people & bad policies that need to change, and we're not celebrating them. But I also know that there are good folks out there fighting for good ideas & good freedoms, which is what I love about this world. So thank you, my Patriot Friend, for all that you've bravely fought for-for yourself and for your community & country. I celebrate folks like YOU.

I sway in Peace
I walk wearily, the snow crunches beneath my boots
A cold wind chills my soul
Fear, depression, stress,
tenses my backbone almost to a
breaking point
Kind of like when el niño blows and maple branches snap
Why was I born a human?
Impulsively I hug a young, supple, silvery birch
The birch tree's dryad beckons me
I step inside to visit for the afternoon
Inside my blood flows faster and my feverish mind cools
I wiggle my toes in the rich, dark soil
My spirit soars as I listen
A chick-a-dee perches on my shoulder serenading me
The tall firs whisper their approval
I do not wish to return to my human form
So I stay
The snows melt, and streams swell around my ankles
The sun burns, and I grow leaves to shade my fair skin
When the sun fades my leaves fall

Maine voters are talking about changing their votes in the primary.

In light of new info about a candidate, I think I'm correct that if a person has cast their absentee ballot and wants to change their vote they may go to the polls on June 9 and cast a provisional ballot that will replace the earlier absentee ballot. Folks have options through June 9.

Collins ran an attack ad with me & my staff last time. This excerpt always makes me laugh. I talked graham talk in maine & national media before he did. Then I got sick, bed ridden & wasted. I’m rebuilding a life now.

have family & friends abroad. Show me the leader who is caring for them too. They may not strike American soil but they can harm Americans abroad
Every act of aggression & war puts them at greater risk too.
I am vehemently against war. Weapons of mass destruction are not just traditional weapons of war. We have been at war and are at war every day that an American life is at risk because of an illness, because of lack of medical care, and because of an inability for a safe and secure life to be lived because of unmet needs.
We are all drafted to war when power controls who lives and who dies
It is up to us to reckon with the war economy and how much our communities rely on it.
It is up to us to recognize how deep we are really at war, how many people are already casualties and ask why it takes an act of traditional war to remind people of the risk of global devastation we have been living already.
