Look,I’m generally for painted bike lanes(they designate a space, so when you go to put in a permanent separated one there’s far less pushback, but you have to build the culture to support them if you’re not going to have a physical barrier. if that means ticketing folks like this, then so be it.
It’s insane that it’s 2026, and the city still doesn’t have a connector or signage to from the Masumi Mitsui greenway to the arbutus greenway.

What I really object to is that these changes won't achieve two of the city's three goals for the project. It won't make an AAA route- most of this section is still on a road with no separated lane. It also won't make it any safer than it already is- the greenway is already a 30km/h narrow road.
Out of curiosity, what was the time difference between requesting it and it being done? Because it took over two years to kinda fix these stairs made of plywood. (The stairs are still falling apart, because, plywood)
