Students in my Department have taken it on their own volition to design caricature posters of all faculty and staff to decorate their office doors with as part of campus Welcome Week. A fun get to know your instructors type thing. This is what they've done for me. I'm doing something right. #lufc

Clear skies, quiet ocean view off the deck, although a little chilly. Definitely a lull between yesterdays 15cm of snow, and tonights 25cm. Might even see if I can motivate Mrs B. for a Boxing Day stroll around the block
Well this was nice to wake up to. 15-20 cm overnight snow. Shovelling it all away before the subsequent rain turned it all in to ice was less nice. And joy, another 20-25cm coming tomorrow night. At least it's an excuse to thoroughly sample the rum collection Santa brought me.
1 year ago today I was excited about going to the 'boro game as a side trip from a work conference in Harrogate for my once every 3 or 4 years game. Mrs. B was not quite as excited about going to her first game (she's not on here otherwise she'd kill me for posting the photo).
My work department has this old thing we inherited, we're not exactly sure what, that we decided looks somewhat like a minion and has become an unofficial mascot. This year Mrs. B did a cake representing its halloween transformation.

VAR intervened and gave this as a penalty in the Porto game this evening. Only way I can explain it is Portugal must have hired Gordon Watson as their VAR operator. Absolutely awful decision (although keeper to save the penalty).
First time I've been eligible to vote in an election in Canada, making it my first vote since UK general election in 1987. Held my nose and did my civic duty by voting strategically rather than who I'd ideally vote for. (even wore my Canada socks for the occasion) #AnyoneButPoilievre

4 years ago this was the chocolate-zucchini-bourbon birthday cake and fondant God figurine my wife made me. Still miss having the wonderful man at the club.
