#DnD After an exhaustingly long flight, we reach home turf! We attendants who recognize us, and Real Food available for those of us who like that kind of thing. And magnetic fidget bits for those of us who don't eat. In other news, I got a cool late birthday present!
#DnD This is what the skeleton piano players use, so their fingers don't slip off the keys. The robot wants some in the brightest colors.
#DnD Side note: I love D&D accessories. Behold two dice holders and a lockpicking D20.
Back to #DnD! We get to level up today. My magical prankster robot can fly now. No one is safe.
I was away from the internet yesterday! Have a terrible comic today. #TerribleComicDay #MakeATerribleComicDay #MakeATerribleComicDay2026
Okay, got it. These are going on a spaceship. I haven't even gotten to use them for actual D&D yet. Looking forward to both.
I will forever think of this comic any time someone mentions that song.
Me getting things done after spending a delightful time talking about wizard trenchcoats or whatever:
Reskeet with a favorite photo of yourself! I'll always be fond of this one. This was on my student ID for my senior year of high school, fangs and all. The history teacher was laughing uproariously when the photographer took it.
Waiting for Good Omens to air, and Pandora is clearly just as impatient.
I feel mystified and curious. Apparently I don't get to see the worried fish.
I've saved a few choice gifs on my computer for times like these. 😁
Vibes for this internal debate are brought to you by the Three-Headed Dragon Meme (and the letter P for Procrastination).
Seriously! Books that promise something fantastical and interesting, but turn out to contain only LIES, are a special flavor of betrayal.
#DnD This particular D20 is taking a tropical vacation to recuperate from its string of horrible rolls.
Admire our Power Rangers pose, complete with tactical cracker to remind us that the Orc is currently 15 feet tall.
Same cat, different lighting. Different nonsense. (Did I tell you she's named Mischief? You can probably guess. She climbed in there on her own, somehow.)
Behold the glory of a black cat in the sun. Where was she hiding all this color, I ask you? So sneaky.
An example of a conversation with a scammer trying to send a Very Basic Script file that you do NOT want to open:
I got my copy, @kevinhearne.bsky.social! Can't wait to read it.
It doesn't look like they charge money. It might be a legit effort, just kinda unnecessary when people can just say they don't use AI. I'm sure the goal is for this to get big and have the badges mean something.
I have two stories in this! They’re both a mix of science fiction and fantasy (which is always fun). The first could be described as “castles and demons and spaceships, oh my,” while the other follows a clever robot who may or may not be qualified to deal with a surprising magical disaster.
Nothing like putting out a good rickroll, then sitting back to wait.
Though that's technically an old picture; the door now has Ye Olde hinges ... and a jangly cat collar hanging on the handle, because Mischief is afraid of it, and that stops her from scratching up the paint. The scratching panel on the other door handle is also for her.
