2015 DR350 was observed in 2015 by the DECam, but has now had 42 more observations from the Rubin/LSST. This is likely an extreme detached disc object with an aphelion at 780 au. Right it and Neptune are on opposite sides of the Sun. I suspect that is not an accident.

From Jure Atanackov The far side of the Sun looks spectacular! Two big active regions! This is the view by the Perseverance rover on Mars, shot with Mastcam-Z yesterday, May 15th. The active region on the left is (ex) AR 4432. The monster on the right is new, likely two closely spaced regions.
The impact point will be at lunar latitude 15 N, longitude 272 E = 88 W, quite near the edge of the near-side, and inside or on the rim of Einstein Crater.

Drone footage of the site of the pilot rescue mission near Isfahan. This does not look like a crash-site at all to me. It does look like the site of a fire-fight, with clear surface explosion marks (from a mortar?) scattered all around. It also looks like the planes used self-destruct charges.

One more close-up: The solar system today, March 14, 2026, as our interstellar visitor, 3I/ATLAS, approaches Jupiter and the Juno spacecraft. Closest approach is in 2 days, and they do plan to observe. (Fortunately, Juno is up near apoJove and will have a good view.)
Remarkable turnout for the rally in Tehran today. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council and other high ranking officials were part of the march, as US/Israeli bombs fell within earshot. Probably shouldn't make a habit of this.
Our interstellar visitor, 3I/ATLAS, is just about to have its last spacecraft encounter, next week with the Juno spacecraft. and I thought people might like to see how it is fading out, with its brightness more or less following the models we fit in late December.
Every Interstellar Object has an incoming radiant (i.e., where in the sky it came from). I took these and plotted them against the Gaia stellar number density map. So, near the galactic plane and at positive galactic longitudes. Will this continue with new ISOs? We'll have to see!
Here is an update using the latest MPC DB update (once a month now, not once a week). Our interstellar visitor, 3I/ATLAS, is leaving the solar system and its optical magnitude is steadily dropping, more or less in line with the predictions from late November. This bodes well for Juno in March.

Artemis 2 is supposed to launch in about a week on a 9 day "free return trajectory" around the Moon. Here is its trajectory to scale, just before the return to Earth.
The solar system out to Jupiter today, January 23, 2025, including our interstellar visitor, 3I/ATLAS, which is leaving the solar system. 3I is halfway on the way out of the solar system. Its next (and last) spacecraft photo-op is with the Juno spacecraft at Jupiter, on March 16.
No, it's still bound to our galaxy. It's moving away from the galactic center and might make it all the way to the Perseus Spiral Arm.
