They grow too fast! If its rainy and cold, they poop and pee inside. Still love the little monster. Funny little t rex dogs. Might get another puppy, (because I am not altogether right in the head.😅) #dachshund #dachshundpuppy

Visiting Cape Town and it is much colder here. Herbie is enjoying it but sharing space with another bigger, younger puppy, is not so much fun! They squabble over toys, bones and who stays "on top" a lot.
A ceramic planter I made 25 years ago and my fast growing puppy. He is just amazing. Totally bewitching and I understand why dachshund owners are all crazy about dachshunds for ever after.

Good morning. Autumn is almost over and my tree is full of lemons. We planted it 3 or 4 years ago, it was just a stick in a plastic bag.. I remember imagining this scene. Lemons dangling above a mosaic wall.
My puppy was supposed to be a mini dachshund but he is already the size of a mini and he is under 4 months old. Is he going to look like a Doberman with very short legs when fully grown?

Yesterday, i was having a minor meltdown about work stuff, so took myself and puppy to beach for a sunset walk. He wanted to greet everyone like long lost best friends. Mostly everyone was enchanted. He toddled up to one lady who screamed like he was a deadly dangerous snake or something. 😆😝.

His name is Herbie. He seems to love herbs and flowers, loves ripping them out the pots or ground, as well as my precious lithops and peyotes grown from seed! Got to watch him ALL the time, puppy proof my precious plants. Crazy times!😅
I think i was a bit mad to get a puppy, especially a dachshund. But, he does take my mind off WW3 and is terribly cute when he isn't being crazy hectic. I've never had a dog like this before.
Something that's helped me burn more calories is this new puppy. I took him to the beach today, and have to exercise him and myself, daily.. I will keep this up. The walkway back to parking is quite steep and tiring on the legs.

Its been a while since I looked at bluesky. I have tried upscrolled, which is a bit disappointing tbh. I do have a new dachshund puppy called Herbie. He keeps me very busy and is totally adorable and clever. This cat is NOT amused.
