Addendum Info on distinguishing between American toad and Fowler's.
Did a one night camp at Long Point Provincial Park. While we were returning from the comfort station to go to bed, close to midnight, my friend spotted a Fowler's toad. I initially thought it was an American toad, but having seen dozens in Newfoundland, I noticed it was slightly different. 1/2

Watching the Atlantic capelin (Mallotus villosus) in Long Beach, Newfoundland There was a bad accident on the TransCanada Highway so we took a sideroad and hung out here for 2-3 hours.
My husband seemed very exhausted and a little stressed, so I came home with a small surprise.
When I first saw at the image of the two elephants, I knew it was #AISlop but I'm getting impressed how detailed it is. I don't think 4 out of 5 people can tell. When you refer to the same image on the creator's profile, even the image is labeled as AI content.
My last student teacher gifted me this beautiful notebook before she left. I have since started adding animal and bird facts that I learn. I wanted opportunities to keep my long term memory healthy by handwriting notes.
