There's a collision near Main Street and the Forest Hills Parkway. The biggest back-ups are forming on Main Street, inbound #HFXTraffic
A caller reports a collision between a car and deer on HWY 101 eastbound, near exit 7 (just before Windsor). They also say first responders were just arriving on the scene #NSTraffic
From NS RCMP on X approx 30 minutes ago (5:15am) There's a large police presence in Linacy, on the 6200 block of hwy 4. Police are executing a search warrant. A section of the highway is closed. RCMP say there is no risk to public safety at this time
A combination of road-work and a collision is causing huge back-ups on HWY 102 outbound, approaching Dunbrack You'll want to avoid that if you can (and get on the 102 somewhere further down the line).... #HFXTraffic

From NS RCMP on X There's a police presence on the 1200 block of Cenotaph Rd in West Bay. Police have taken folks into custody there, but they'll remain in the area for a bit (but they say there is no risk to public safety at this time)
We have a couple power outages in Dartmouth The one near the Mall could be in place until about 8am... The Smaller outage near Portland Street should be fixed within the half hour
Traffic Map showing a collision on HWY 102 inbound near the Bedford Rifle Range. That's pretty close to the exchange with HWY 101 and 102... So that's causing back-ups on BOTH highways right now... #HFXTraffic
Traffic headed to the MACKAY HFX Bound is almost backed up to the Mall on the CIRC. We heard about a pulled over truck on the bridge earlier. Not sure if this is still the case or not, but expect delays getting on the MacKay rn #HFXTraffic
