Stone Canyon Reservoir this morning

A view of the southern portion of the Stone Canyon reservoir from the east. It is filled with water and there are wispy clouds/fog above the southernmost portion of the reservoir.

The hills are very green and they are dotted with expensive houses.

In the immediate foreground of the picture are some orange flowers but I never recall their name so ???

This photo was taken about thirty minutes after the following photo.

Stone Canyon Reservoir from the north.

The northern portion of the reservoir is dry. It is nestled in a canyon in the Santa Monica mountains. You can see very expensive houses along the mountains to the west of the reservoir.

The hills are very green and there are shadows on the hills in the foreground.

The southern portion of the reservoir is barely visible. It is filled with water and there are clouds/fog above the southernmost portion of the reservoir.
