Cheer up NYC, here in San Francisco we just picked someone who has never held political office before + whose career consisted of rich folks "jobs" (fundraising, "deputy" director, "senior" adviser, etc). I mean, you could still elect the nursing home/sexual harassment scandal guy but I wouldn't.
