Jospeh Priestley House. Northumberland, Pennsylvania. Priestley was a scientist who discovered oxygen & carbon monoxide, and a religious progressive chased out of England for his Unitarian views. Highly recommend Joe Jackson’s book “A World on Fire” for a compelling account of Priestley.
European fallow deer have been moved far & wide since the Roman Empire (and likely sooner). They are the quintessential “park deer” and can now be found running wild and semi-wild on 6 continents. They’re also common on hunting ranches, game farms and safari parks. blog.nature.org/2021/08/02/h...
