Plus this bullshit as we continue to lose ground on what used to be a protected bike lane on Washington Street. This is erasure by neglect or intent, take your pick, as a section of the lane had disappeared completely now. @streets.boston.gov #stillgoingbackwards
We will be relentless. We will not look away. We will not be distracted. And we will get safer and better streets and public spaces one way or the other. We will not settle for anything less. We will demand more because Louisa did.
After last week’s awful tragedy, the first steps to help pick up the pieces happened in DTX, thanks @streets.boston.gov, but flexposts never should have been removed here in the first place, we have a long way to go, and every single day must bring real progress from now until the sun burns out.
The cast in place on Congress looks done and it looks great. Thanks @streets.boston.gov and @wutrain.bsky.social - now don’t stop here, more of this all through the downtown core network and all across the city. We want, need, and deserve safer streets for everyone!
