So here’s what happens, textarea is still wrapping the word I’ve set a 200ms idle timer and it’s running only for Safari, seems solid so far & performance hit seems insignificant relative to processing & displaying a long doc
Safari has an annoying glitch where it doesn’t always properly update textarea wrapping, breaking things like editors where you’re lining up invisible editable text over a styled copy Found a simple, synchronous workaround to prod it
This morning the lovely cocker spaniel we adopted 6 weeks ago suddenly went weak & listless, we rushed him to the vet where he died. He had internal bleeding from a large tumour We’re stunned by how abruptly we’ve lost him
