All the ladies on Flatbush today were wearing an adult version of this dress and I almost died of jealousy. When I got adult money, I used it to buy a replacement copy of this book.

If you work in an office, on a film set, or hold events regularly, pick up pre-cut foil & a sleeve of containers with secure lids and get to know your local mutual aid folks or identify your closest community fridge. I just packed up breakfast for 30 from a film shoot that wrapped quickly.
Everyone cooking for the Flatbush distro lives in walking distance today so I got to bring the table and some odds and ends via cart and it is such a delight to do a task like this on foot on a glorious day.

The pretty ones go over soooo well when canvassing. These have been so popular in pretty filament and Knicks colors.
The news and teenagers broke me before 10 am and this reminded me that I can just make…. Anything and feel better. So I dead headed everything wrecked in the storms and and am standing on the sidewalk handing flowers to neighbors. You get all of them as a thank you. 😘
NY Friends! Do you hate all this patriotic nonsense? Marcela’s comedy show in Crown Heights benefits the Flatbush mutual aid distro and truly keeps us going! We use funds to reimburse groceries for cooks, buy diapers, iced tea and the odd pizza. We’ve been feeding 80 hot meals a week for 2+ years!

We’ve been going even lazier when I have leftover rice and making crispy rice on a sheet pan and piling all the onigiri stuff on that in the middle of the table. Some people put kewpie on their scoops. Some of us nori to wrap.

I just ran down the corner to my local at the corner and handed out 75 whistles in Knicks colors to my neighbors at the 3rd quarter. They are now my besties who are absolutely ready to throw down and defend Flatbush against ice. That was the most delightful 7 minutes of canvassing I’ve ever done.

Do you think an auction lot of seaglass special finds would do well? There’s definitely an overlap of quilters/crafters and seaglassers. I could do a frosty stopper, doll head and marble and maybe some more rare colors? I looked through old items and there wasn’t anything like it.
